Privacy notice

What this website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Last updated 10 October 2026.

Who we are

DARCH is a trading name of Jan Dorian Poczekaj (Dorian Architecture), a sole trader in the United Kingdom. For anything about your data, write to support@darch.cloud.

What this website collects

  • The Get started form. What you type: your organisation, name, email address, optional phone number and domain, the service you chose and your message. We also record the time, and the network address the request came from, to stop abuse of the form.
  • Email. If you write to us, we keep the message so we can answer it.
  • Server logs. Like every web server, ours records requests (address, time, page). The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes the same information on our behalf and may set a strictly necessary security cookie.

This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking.

Why, and on what basis

We use form and email details only to reply to you and, if you become a client, to provide the service. The legal bases are steps taken at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and keeping the site secure.

Where it is kept and for how long

  • Requests are stored on our server in Frankfurt, Germany, and in its encrypted backups.
  • A request that does not lead to work is deleted within 12 months.
  • If you become a client, your details are kept for the life of the contract and for as long afterwards as tax law requires.

Who sees it

Only DARCH, and the companies that carry the service for us: our hosting provider and Cloudflare. We do not sell or share your details for marketing.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to support@darch.cloud and we will answer within one month. If you are unhappy with the answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Clients' data

When we host email or other personal data for a client, that client decides what happens to it and we act on their instructions under a data processing agreement. Questions about such data are best sent to the organisation concerned.
