The name
DARCH is short for Dorian Architecture, the trading name of its owner. The architecture is digital: the systems behind a business, such as its email, website, logins and the routine work between them. DARCH does not design buildings.
DARCH is not connected with other companies, software projects or people that share the name Darch. Our only website is darch.cloud, and our email addresses end in @darch.cloud.
How we work
The rules we keep
The same rules apply to our own systems and to yours.
Written down, not remembered
Every setup lives in version-controlled files. A change is rehearsed first, applied from those files and recorded.
Checked, not assumed
A setting counts as done when a test shows it works. We tell you what was tested and what was not.
The old way stays until the new one works
When your email or website moves, the old service keeps running until the new one has passed every check.
Your data in your hands
Domains, accounts and data are registered in your name. No tracking on our website, no adverts in your mail, and a full copy whenever you leave.
Secrets stored encrypted
Passwords and keys for our systems are kept in an encrypted vault.
Honest about limits
We publish what we do not take on, and when something goes wrong, what happened and what we changed.
